Previous quotes ranged from 'don't know what the problem is' to 'we have to rip the bathtub out, including tiles and glass, and put new ones in for 10k+'...Called Twin Plumbing after finding their fridge magnet in our letterbox. Came out, super professional, knowledgable... drilled through the wall behind the bathtub, fixed the bath tub drain 'remotely' without having to do anything inside the actual bathroom, all for a fraction of the cost (and probably time) the other plumbers indicated. I was uncertain regarding the condition of the septic system. I read lots of reviews and did a tremendous amount of research (yelp, google, yellow pages, and BBB). I decided to call Twins Plumbing and Septic, spoke to Will (discussed my concerns) and made an appointment for later that week at 12:00. They called to let me know they were on the way and arrived on time. Landon and Will evaluated my system, quickly resolved a failed pump alarm, cleaned the filter, pumped and rinsed the 1000 gallon tank as well as the pump tank. They replaced two of my riser lids on the septic tank (the number I told them) and sent their help to pick up another lid for the pump tank (I thought it was a different size, but they confirmed the size). The price was less that I expected and way more than fair, as a matter of fact, I asked three times if they were sure of the charges. Three times they confirmed. I will use Twins Plumbing and Septic again, not only for any septic work but any plumbing needs. This review cannot convey how pleased I was with this company. Thank you guys!! read less

I had them do the pump out anyway since it had been beyond the 5 your point, they were quick and professional and best of all the price was great , They even gave me their 5% military discount for my service, seems like these days not a lot of people care about the sacrifice people made in military. My home builder should really pay for this, Piedmont residential, for incorrectly installing a shark bite fitting underground which had corroded and fell apart. I've been here 5 years so I'm sure they wouldn't cover it, but if done correctly this wouldn't have happened. Estimate was $250-$300, and of course had to be on the higher side of that. read less

And so we called another company first to come and pump our tank, he poked everywhere with the soil probe trying to find the septic tank, and did not find it. Then he came back the next day with the drawings from the county and still could not find the septic tank. Let me tell you, Twins Septic they were professional and courteous from the minute I called to schedule. They even gave me a courtesy call 25 minutes before the appointment time. When they showed up they were really friendly and respectful. I showed them the drawing, that I had requested from the county myself, and immediately he found the septic tank. They were fast, and efficient in pumping the tank and also making sure that when we flush the toilet there was no blocks and the water was flowing as it should to the tank. When they were done they put all the dirt back as nice as possible and then came to knock on my front step give me a receipt for the service provided. We had a sewage smell that occurred every once in a while. We called out a plumbing company and they informed us that the whole septic system needed replacement quoted over $4k for the work, when I said "No" it quickly became a game of Let's Make a Deal(they managed to get it down to $800...Sketchy). I called Twins and they came out inspected the whole system, found no issues and even no need to pump the system(Issues were coming from both neighbors septic systems). Because they were honest and I didn't want to waste their time/money. I asked them to quote me to install lid extensions on the septic tank and paid them happily. Fast forward a year and half, I had moved to Arizona, and had tenants in the house. The primary water line had begun to leak. They came out next day, quoted, and repaired in a few hours. They have not let me down and exceeded expectations. I cannot thank them enough and refer business to them any chance I can. read less

I e-mailed Landon and Jeff was over the next day to take a look. He confirmed there was a leak and needed to order the pipes to fix everything. Jeff and the twins were over a few days later and took care of everything. After spending a nerve wracking morning talking to a variety of plumbers who either charged too much or had a lead time of more than a week, I received a call back from Twins Septic. I was nearly in tears by the time I spoke with them, but they were very understanding of my situation and agreed to work with me to get the problem taken care of quickly and affordably. They scheduled an appointment to have the tank emptied later that day, and our service person, Jeff, arrived right when he said he would. He quickly located the tank and dug a small hole to access it, taking time to explain everything he was doing during the process. He pointed out a few things we could do to make sure the pipes stayed as clear as possible, and finished the job quicker than any other septic company ever had. I had an urgent issue with my septic system while my husband was overseas. I called after 4pm and... read moreI had an urgent issue with my septic system while my husband was overseas. I called after 4pm and had a return call within 30 min. Jeff went over several possible reasons for my issue over the phone. When all of those reasons did nit apply, Jeff had an appointment set for me the next day. When Jeff and Ryan got tied up on a job, the owners (Will and Landon) arrived at my property within 20 minutes of Jeff calling me to explain the delay. Will and Landon diagnosed the issue with my septic system and provided a temporary fix so we would have no issues overnight and set up a repair time for the following day.Jeff and Ryan arrived ahead the scheduled appointment time and got straight to work replacing a malfunctioning tank float. When pumping was slow, Jeff investigated and found tons of vegetation roots had formed a blockage at the leach field, he then pulled out all he could reach. Now I know to take care of that issue before it happens again. After removing the roots, Jeff and Ryan proceeded to replace the broken float. Overnight, there was another issue, and again, Will and Landon came out to my property the next morning and fixed the issue of securing the float. Twins Plumbing and Septic will now be my go-to company for any issues we might have with our plumbing or septic. Good customer service is rare these days, and these guys were EXCELLENT. They arrived at 8:50 A.M. with a welcoming atmosphere. Jeff and Ryan briefly went over the procedures ensuring me that there will be no hidden charges and that they do quality work. They took the time to explain how a septic tank works and how much certain repairs cost. My septic tank hasn't been pumped for 18+ years and they did a good job at pumping it. We agreed to pump 1000 gallons but Jeff or Ryan told me that their truck was almost full so they can pump an additional 200 gallons without any charge on a 1500 gallon septic tank. I'm very please with their honesty and how straight forward they are. They were nice and respectful! One their way out, I asked one of the guys on the excavator to move some small heavy junk that I had laying around about 10ft away and they did it without hesitation. Took them 3 min to move it. I will use these guys in the next 5 yrs when I have to pump my septic again. Very pleased! read less

We had never had our septic serviced after buying our home in 2010, and I don't know that it was... read moreWe had never had our septic serviced after buying our home in 2010, and I don't know that it was ever pumped prior to our moving in -- so we decided it was high time to get it pumped. I contacted Twins along with 2 other local companies. Twin's pricing was in the middle, they had great reviews here on Yelp, and they were prompt in their response to my inquiries. We got the service scheduled that same week at 11 a.m. and the guys called me shortly before that time, to confirm they were on their way. Upon arrival, I told them I had no clue where our septic was located (who knows these things?) so they quickly went to work finding it. Turns out it's close to my house, near our HVAC units and so they told me they had put a call out ("call before you dig!"). Once the lines were flagged, they told me to call back to reschedule. After the power and gas lines were flagged, I called and was able to reschedule for that same week. They charged us an additional $50 to clear cut the underbrush and tree branches that were in the way on the side of our property (totally reasonable price!). [Note: The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because whatever they used for the clear-cutting also left big track marks in my yard across the grass in the backyard. My yard is by no means pristine so it wasn't a huge deal - and my yard is not the easiest to work with because our house is built into a hill. But if I had really nice grass or sod, I would not have been happy with the track marks their machinery left behind.] Ultimately, all went great and they took care of our system. Will be using them again if event of any problems, or for routine maintenance in the future. read less

I needed a filter because for some reason the company that installed the septic didn't leave one in. The original lid in our tank is cement and a part of it cracked off but will replace it in a couple of months. I texted my neighbor about what I had done & she asked for their number so I texted a picture of the truck's door with the logo & number. It was the Wednesday afternoon before a 3 day weekend. I called Twins Plumbing on Wednesday to see if I could get our hot water heater replaced and the gas leak fixed. I wanted the work done before the long weekend so my family and I wouldn't have to take cold showers for 4 days.Twins Plumbing set up an appointment for Thursday morning and showed up on time to look at our existing equipment. They were extremely professional and described all the work and parts that were needed upfront. By Thursday night I had a very reasonable written quote and an appointment to have our hot water heater replaced the following morning. Twins Plumbing called 15 minutes before arriving and showed up at our scheduled appointment time Friday morning. Once again they were friendly and professional. They removed our old equipment, fixed the gas leak, and installed our new hot water heater. The two men who arrived, Jeff and Ryan, were great! Very friendly, made little mess and cleaned up what mess they did make. Jeff was even very careful to drive the Bobcat through the same tracks in the yard leaving as were made entering. They did recommend pumping because the tank was already open.
